I should really give this three stars, but I think my patience for this type of book is running out. A cute hybrid of Harry Potter and Sookie Stackhouse. All the elements of paranormal YA romance are there: boarding school, confusion over parentage, demon-hunting secret society, ghosts, weres, shifters, fae, vampires, and prom. The mystery was only mysterious if you are really super bad at picking up on obvious hints (and I mean, like, anvil-size). Didn't actively irritate me, but slight at best.
