Queen of Babble in the Big City (Queen of Babble, #2)

The sequel to Queen of Babble, which I read a few weeks ago. I think this book is brand new because the date stamped in it said like 17 July 2007! I love that since this isn't like a super indemand author here, they don't even put it on the new book shelve or make you pay for it, like some of the new stuff here. And at first I thought they made a mistake because I couldn't use the autocheck, but nope! All fine.
Picks up where the last book left off. Girl moves to NYC and ends up moving in with her Boy of like 2 months since they started dating. Girl ends up working for free at some dress show and as a receptionist at her best friends boy's father's law firm. Best friend ends up being a lesbian. Kind of pointless plot. All Girl can think about is weddings and getting married. She has only been with the guy less then 6 months! But I guess it is her business in redoing dresses, so I can sort of accept that, but it was still annoying. She was different around him, but still wanted to marry him. I hate people like that! So selfish. And then when he doesn't propose at Christmas, she gets pissed and they break up. So lame! But by the end of the book he does. Just because she wants him too. Who would ever want to get engaged that way? I can see maybe years down the line, but after 6 months, it's come down to propose or break up? Who would want to be with a girl like that?
Grade: C--
