I read this new biography on Derek Jeter in hopes of finding new content that I hadn't read before. I've read much about the Yankees covering the years 1996-2010, so there isn't much I haven't read on previous occasions. This book did have some new material that I had not seen in other publications or books. Regardless of the material I have heard or read before, I still enjoyed this book. If you haven't ever done a serious study or read of baseball and baseball biographies in particular I would encourage you to do so. There is a treasure chest of good writing, good reporting and good story telling.
