Karen Rose has been one of my auto-buy author’s since the first time I picked up and read my first book by her.
I always feel like I’m trying to solve a puzzle while engaged in one of her stories. A corner piece here, an edge there and finally a piece of that pesky blue sky. No One Left to Tell was like a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle and it packs a whopping 518 pages. That’s a lot of story with action, twists and turns, secrets and a sweet and budding romance.
PI in training Paige Holden along with her trusty dog Peabody and state attorney and Grayson Smith were an unlikely pair but they were forced into each other’s lives after their own lives were threatened on more than one occasion. That can be the basis for a strong relationship in itself but throw in the instant physical attraction and these two didn’t mind in the least having to spend time in each other’s company...except for that pesky trying to stay alive thing.
It’s always a good sign when I want to keep reading to the exclusion of all else. And Rose just kept on throwing out the teasers to keep me turning the pages. I really wanted to know what Grayson’s deep, dark secret was. And every time Adele appeared on the page I wondered where her piece of the puzzle fit in.
No One Left to Tell was compelling and complex. All I can say is deep, dark and brooding brother Joseph had better be getting his own book! I was very intrigued by this-tape-will-self-destruct-in-5 seconds secret agent man.

Thanks Jill! What do you think about Jack? She must be writing a book for him right? I think I'm going to tweet her and ask.

And I meant Joseph..not Jack (brain dead). I see her next book listed on Goodreads Did You Miss Me features him. I still tweeted her.

Great review, Judi! I enjoyed this one, too! I'm looking forward to Did You Miss Me?, which I think is Joseph's book. I'm wondering if Stevie and Clay will be an H/h in an upcoming book?
