I always feel a loss for characters who were in love and over mutual mistakes and circumstance end up missing out on years together. I've been looking forward to this story since the start. It is heartbreaking the way everything ended up stacked against these two after their worlwind romance while they were young. Even while they were angry with each other I can just imagine the pain to watch the other move on with their life without you. Then the pain of finding out how the circumstances led to their own mistakes and the thought that it was to late to change anything. The story was what I've come to expect from Jeffries. The romance was very good and engaging. Both characters had a lot to get over. They had a history to work out. It complicated things and brought them closer. I'm glad they finally found their way back and got past old bitterness.
