While I did like this book, I didn't feel as connected with these characters as I have with others in past books. And I have to say, this one was a tear-jerker indeed!

This one was all about the up and down relationship of Mack and Susie. The family is getting tired of the two denying a relationship and Susie is also getting sick of it. Susie decides she's going to start pushing Mack more when Mack suddenly pulls away when he receives bad news from his job. Then Susie receives terrible news after a trip to the doctor. Can the two overcome the challenges facing them and make a life for themselves?
