it was amazing
bookshelves: romance, fan

As a teen in a hurry to get out of a rural town, required school curriculum inched (before metric) infinitesimally slowly to predictable death in marriage. Decades later, seeking pleasant peace, entranced with the time, costume and sunny springtime style, perhaps by a movie, maybe actor Colin Firth, Austen is a soothing harmless medicine. Emma favorite for her innocent meddling, rest 4*, and original opinion stand in P & P with explanation. Definite re-read.
