This is why I read fiction. One day I will produce something half as brilliant.

It's simultaneously sad and hilarious. It voraciously rips at your being. I want to change everything about everything. I relate too well to this, it's as if Grossman wrote the book for me to pick up, that its mass production is a sham and the only intent was for me to discover it.

The beautiful thing about this series is the endings are not happy. They're not tragic, but they're not happy, and they're not final. They are as harsh as the realities of the characters within them.
