Agh, I must stop NOW! But I can't. The worse they are, the more addicting they become. Yes, I am talking about another Keyes book. This one was one of the better ones I have read if only that it wasn't so bogged down with minor plots and details. Finally!

Claire has just given birth in London when her husband announces he is leaving her and running off with a neighbour. Claire goes back to Dublin and moves back with her parents and two younger sisters. Her youngest sister Helen brings home a classmate who Claire falls for. Claire's husband finally calls about two months later and tries to flip the whole thing around to him leaving that it's Claire's problem, that she is too selfish and that is why he had to leave her. She speaks to her friends back in London who say that her husband finally realized that he is heartbroken and that he wants her back and when she confronts him about this, he never admits it and for some reason this pisses her off. The progtag in this books problem is getting walked over. That aspect annoyed me, as there is always something with these characters. Claire does not allow herself to fall into that pit (thank god!) and does not go back with her husband. Claire realizes that she really likes her sisters classmate and whatta ya know, he ends up moving to London, the same time Claire does, but for work and school. And he has a child that his ex-girlfriend is leaving him with, so they have something in common! How amazing! Blah. A very easy, straightforward read.
