I really enjoyed this book! The story of New York in the '60s doesn't seem like a topic that would have obvious appeal to me. Once I started reading, however, I was immediately drawn in. English does a great job of choosing three disparate characters: a corrupt policeman, a Black Panther and an innocent, yet convicted man. In switching between these points of view, English's non-fiction narrative does a superb job of conveying an era of history. Well worth a read!
