I've read everything Margaret Robison's two sons have written (Augusten Burroughs and John Elder Robison) so I was really looking forward to reading Margaret Robison's memoirs. I knew from reading Augusten Burroughs' books that life was harrowing, to say the least, and learning about it from her perspective was something I was interested in.

My problem -- it dragged and dragged and I started skipping more and more pages. Also, after reading Augusten Burroughs's books, I just couldn't reconcile the two stories. I kept waiting for the writing style of Burroughs and there was none of that. That's not fair of me, I realize, but I just couldn't help it.

Worth a scan, but not a read.
