it was amazing
bookshelves: 19th-century, criminal-justice
Read from June 02 to 14, 2011

Extremely well told and very gripping account of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth--told mostly from Booth's perspective. Reads like a novel. No great historical work, but a nice leisure read. Had me hooked from beginning to end.
