Pet-advertising photographer encounters injured cop Hero who's been framed for murder in her backyard. She's attracted to him but wary of getting attached or engage in casual sex due to her history of wanting marriage with her past 2 lovers & maternal history of serial marriage & divorces. But they both succumb to their fiery attraction even though both have some reservations & Hero is on the run.

Although I'm not a big fan of pets in romances, this Craig book was funny & didn't overdo pet humour. It was romance-focused even though there's an action-suspense element. The romance was good & believable. Sensuality was pretty hot.

Recommended.
