Timeless Heart (Timeless Hearts #1)

I have always been enamored with the idea of time travel and will admit to having fantasized about traveling back in time. In my imaginings things always ended up exciting, dangerous, and romantic. Timeless Heart captures the essence of my fantasies.
Jerrod Ross, a squire from 1821 is traveling with three other passengers in a carriage when caught in a severe storm. That storm propels him to the 21st century. Sandra Cranston, a school teacher on leave discovers his carriage and the romance novel worthy Jerrod and nurses him back to health. Along the way to finding a method of returning Jerrod to his own world, these two develop an attraction for each other that transcends time and distance. I adored the humor and wit from both characters, the engaging plot and the amazingly hot and sensual love scenes! Sandra's spirit and Jerrod's wonder at all the modern conveniences (I would hate to pay Sandra's water bill) were adorable.
One of my favorite passages:
"What is your name, sir?" the woman asked in a cool tone.
How officious she sounded. He supposed it was all he deserved, as he
was treating her like some servant.
Jerrod lay back down. He was in discomfort. "My name is
Jerrod Ross, Squire from Pendern Hall. And who might you be,
madam?"
"I? I am Sandra Cranston, Mistress of the walk-up second
story flat,” she replied coldly.
My only regret - it was over all too soon! If you are a fan of Time Travel and of romance, this should be in your "to be read" pile.
