We all know how it ends. We all know the main opponents, Megatron and Optimus Prime. But every story has a beginning and every man or bot had been having simple life before he became leader. Megatron was once a very humble and hardworking bot, being miner was not easy and well paid job. He was sort of happy until something came in his life. The autobots were presented as not those noble creatures as you have probably seen them in the movie or cartoons, but bureaucratic and power hungry bastards who ruled Cybetron with iron fist. Sentinel Prime was making the government running by senate and his position was not very strong. The golden age was and Iacon was flourishing but deep in the undergrounds the Energon crisis (Energon keeps bots running) hit the population. Those who are rich wanted to be richer and the mines are transformed in to the automatic ones, that meant miners are kicked from the job. But there was something which triggered the uprising.
