There were some good ideas in here; abusive pasts, a crazy dangerous ex, psychic abilities & a street hustler/sex slave finding his soul mate in a bar & the soulmate turning out to be a college educated white collar office drone. Maybe there'd be a little conflict to resolve here so that despite their bond, the two wouldn't just rush together have sex & declare their everlasting love immediately. But no, shortcuts were taken throughout this book and conflicts treated superficially which made this book ho hum instead of being really good.
