This book was a good conclusion to the story begun in Blackout. Willis' characters are sympathetic and interesting, and she writes with a good sense of humor. It took me until the end of this book to sort out who was who between Polly and Merope. I've never enjoyed a story so much that had me so confused at times, very fun. I also saw an interesting exploration of providence in the books, although I don't think the author intended it. I see lots of people had problems with Blackout, but I think when getting the whole story from this book as well it really comes together with a nice twist at the end.
