This is the tenth book in the series and it was a good read. It involved three cases. First, Lindsay investigated this young lady running down the street naked under a poncho. The young girl had just given birth and the baby was nowhere to be found. Next, Cindy investigated this man who was raping woman. The woman would wake up fully dressed nothing stolen, they could not remember how they had gotten where they were but they knew they had been raped. This puts Cindy in danger. Lastly, Yuki is trying this heart surgeon for murdering her husband. The question is did she really do it? Lindsay comes to believe that maybe she didn’t do it and maybe the nanny did it which pits friend against friend.

In this book Yuki finds a man. Cindy and Conklin get engaged. Lindsay is pining for a baby. If she gets pregnant it makes me wonder if the series will end. This book was not overly exciting but it was good. Kept you going from chapter to chapter. Typical Patterson, short chapters lots of action.
