I love the movie Clue. It isn’t the greatest out there, but I dig that sort of stuff. You know, a group of random people brought together for some absurd purpose. The Westing Game is Clue. Kooky characters playing a game of murder. Sam Westing has died. He’s named fourteen heirs to potentially inherit 20 million dollars if they win his game. It’s the definition of “page turner” with those wonderful short chapters. It moves quickly, so quickly in fact that you hesitate to continue because you know with every page turn the end approaches. I would strongly recommend this for the early reader – and I’m not referring to age. This is an excellent, gripping novel to get people psyched about reading.
