The only thing that bothered me about this book is that is seems to be out of order. One of the central characters, Lord David Alderscroft, is much too young to be the same person who appears in the other three books as an older, wiser version, and some of the politics of the White Lodge are clearly taking place before the events of book #1, so I'm not sure why this is book four. I am sad that, so far, there don't seem to be many links among all the characters. There is certainly room for a book five, of which I am hopeful.
