I am about 3/4 of the way through this book.
Just yesterday, I was jotting down my thoughts so far. I was thinking about how I have enjoyed this series, but it has been very predictable most of the time. And how "convenient" the characters are that pop up.
(one happens to be a pediatrician, one happens to be an engineer, etc etc)
more on that when I'm done with the book....just got to the Mississippi trip.
Lots more to happen in Henry Adams! I will be looking for #4
Spoilers below....

I found with this 3rd book in the series, it got to be quite confusing on the characters. So many new ones popped up and I had to keep trying to remember who was who....i.e.....One child was showing up to see his mother he never met....another parent was coming to find his child...Zoey's preacher coming to town. It is almost too much going on with too many characters.
I love how the relationships changed and grew over time. I also found some of the foster kids stories heartbreaking, as I know this is something that is very real.
