** spoiler alert ** Slow start for a Kinsey Milhone, but I think that's because most Milhones start with the film noir set-up: The second Lonnie Kingman walked in, I knew he was trouble, or some such thing. Once you get to the meat of the book, it's fairly decent Milhone fare, other than the fact that it takes you exactly where you expect it to by the most likely route. I do like that the subplots are much more interesting than the usual Milhone "should I get involved with Jonah or not?" Hope to hear more about Henry's brother in the next one!
