Review for the unabridged audio version.

Is this really written by the same author who wrote About a Boy? I am struggling to see any resemblance. I was completely absorbed by that book, with Juliet Naked I was quite simply, bored. This is another book that I would certainly have abandoned if I'd not been listening to the audio version. Thankfully I was treated to Jennifer Wiltse as Annie, Ben Miles reading Duncan and Bill Irwin, Tucker.

The whole premise was hugely irritating - middle aged music buff (Duncan) idolises forgotten star (Tucker Crowe) and spends every waking moment discussing said star's work on a chat site. Meanwhile his love interest (Annie) decides she's had enough (finally comes to her senses) when Duncan has a fling (what!!?? how unbelievable is that!?) with a work colleague.
And it gets worse when Annie then has a relationship with Tucker Crowe.

2 stars only because I finished it.
Don't bother with this one.
