J.D. Holman I think I read that back in college. What did you think of it?

Luke Anderson I had difficulty, as this was my first encounter with Surrealist literature (as opposed to just surreal literature). There were passages that were very beautiful, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was missing out on quite a lot, as I was neither familiar with Breton's aesthetic, nor most of the artists or French haunts that he seemed to delight in name-dropping. I think I'll give it a reread after I tackle his "Manifestoes of Surrealism."

Richard where did you find a copy of that.

Luke Anderson Got a used one on Amazon a while back. Only drawback is there's some highlighting.
