I really liked it, and I think I would have liked it even more if I'd been able to read it all at once. It's really a world you have to immerse yourself in for it to make sense. It definitely doesn't seem like a self-contained book, by which I mean it feels like the first part of a three-part book. This book feels like setup for a conflict in the next two. Which is fine. It's just a weird place to stop at.
