I like this one because Jean-Claude doesn't appear in it that much. At this point, Anita has the two marks which gives her some leeway in her dealings with Jean-Claude. For the most part, this book is about Anita learning how much her own powers have grown: she can raise entire cemeteries; she's a necromancer.

I don't think I'm going to read all 19 books before the meet-the-author on Wednesday. :)
