A delightful mystery with murders in two different centuries. Although the modern murder mystery is secondary to the 19th century one, the parallels enhance both stories. The seaport town is wonderfully drawn, filled with engaging people, living and dead while Jordan's relationship with her live-in ghosts as well as other ghosts in the town invoke laughter.
