and he narrated it perfectly. Profanity always sounds great when it's coming out of his mouth.
May 28, 2011:
The pdf viral is excellent. Funny because it's true. Definitely a bestseller in the making.
From Publishers Weekly:
Finally, one book whose buzz began weeks ago and kept rising after its .pdfs went viral, the wildly titled Go the F*** to Sleep by Adam Mansbach, illus. by Ricardo Cortés, from Akashic Books, is still going strong. Consortium president Julie Schaper reports that there are 225,000 copies in print, the pub date has been moved up to mid-June, and almost all the copies are “spoken for.” In addition, movie rights have been optioned and at least six foreign language rights deals have been struck. Dave Mallman, a bookseller at the Next Chapter, called it a “stroke of genius that irreverently expresses the frustrations all parents face when dealing with our beloved but exasperating children.”

I need to recc you a book. It's driving me insane, but I want to be corrected if that insanity is based on false assumptions.
Here it is:
.
Do it, you won't be sorry. The rage alone is worth the price of the thing. Or, you know, if you want, I can post you the fucker. Go on, you know you want to.

Um, so let me get this right. You gave it 2 stars and put it on your "dnf", "sweet-jesus--no" and "goodbye-forever" shelves and you want ME to read the thing? Do I look like a sucker to you? Don't answer that. The description alone does not inspire confidence. Looking at my friends' ratings and it's a love it or hate it scenario. Knowing everyone's tastes I think I'll be siding with the haters. There's no UK Kindle edition or I would've downloaded a sample to check. I'm thinking your insanity isn't based on false assumptions, Moss. That's the polite way of saying "No fucking way am I reading that shit!" LOL!

I love the pdf. Those kids kill me with their big, puddle eyes.
