Plus some terrorism this book was:

Here down: SPOILERS sort of

The construction of each chapter's prose was fantastic: long flash backs spurred by a glimpse of a woman's gait at the airport and a final action sequence mixed with some great reveals about character. But those great moment aren't until the last 50 pages, so you're forced to hear the same old same old about Rabbit Angstrom-ish characters (by the way, there's a sentence that reads: "He threw a copy 'Rabbit is Rich' at her- a good book, really." Is this an homage? I found it just reinvigorated my disdain for writers who constantly rehash the midlife crisis boner-nostalgia theme.) and it's a long wait to the end, which is simultaneously a brave choice and a choice that any of us could have come up with for an ending. I'm not sold on this book. I enjoyed it, but I feel that it has become outdated already.
