I'll be blogging this later, but it's one of those books that I'm probably not the best person to review. She tells the story of leaving God through an analogy that depends a lot on romantic imagery -- God as boyfriend.

But by the end she raises some important questions about how we construct God and project that which is good about humanity on God, relieving ourselves of responsibility for the common good of the world.

Katherine Willis Pershey I really disliked "A Church of Her Own" and can't imagine being too fond of this one, either.

Robert D. Cornwall Katherine, I had problems with the analogy though the discussion of projection is valuable. Still, not sure what to make of it -- especially considering my age and gender!
