Expected a lot more humor from both the reviews/taglines ("God's dead. Meet the kids.") and my experience with /Good Omens/.

I was also expecting more of a Christian God bent to it, but that's probably just my cultural immersion showing. Regardless, I was not thrilled with this story, but I did love the style, characterization, and dialogue.

I suppose I love Gaiman, but I didn't much like the story he chose to tell.

I guess I should have gone to /American Gods/ instead.
