did not like it
bookshelves: crap, fiction

This man has got to be one of the worst writers I've ever come across. It continues to amaze me how far Dan Brown's magic formula continues to work for him. Take a conspiracy theory (which is by NO means secret, and has probably been researched to death already), read a few books on the subject, pick some random parts completely out of context, add some cardboard characters and the worst dialogue in the history of literature, start with a murder, and end with the ever dependable father-figure turning out to be Satan himself, and you get Dan Brown's amazing accomplishments. But of course, maybe I'm just not smart enough to fathom the intricate and deep complexities and profound meanings behind all this.
