So, I had read the book just prior to this in the series of Bob Lee Swagger books. I certainly liked it better than this one. This has great twists and you are not sure that your guess as to what is going on is correct, at least for a while. But then, it gets predictable, and a bit long-winded. Add to that the language, and it dramatically drops the score on my card. I have always admired the stealth and great aim and stillness of the sniper. However, I learned reading this book, that in order to be still for so long, you need a supply of Depend adult diapers. Kinda spoiled my whole "snipers are awesome" image for me.
