Half Moon Investigations
by Eoin Colfer
by Eoin Colfer
Another fantastic book by Eoin Colfer. As lovable as his Artemis series without being too repetitive. His loner of a main character is up to in a case that could ruin his life. If he can't crack it in time, he'll be arrested and blamed for the crimes committed. So it's a race against time as he's on the run from the law with the most unlikely of person of all, his school yard bully.
From the instant trouble hit the fan, the trigger was fairly obvious but brought to the main character's attention in a nice manner with an ending that you can happily close the book on without dying for a sequel or being disappointed. But you never know with this author, it could always crop up when you least expect it.
