This interesting read about ancient philosophers gives a wonderful picture of history, philosophy and for every name mentioned a good biography for any person who enjoys reading about different points of views and the striking of imagination with nonstopable flow. I can't take one philosopher out and say that he was the best, all of them had very creative minds and were truly smart people that we can learn more about and look up to. The History-Makers goes from Democritus to Plato, Atistotle, Socrates and even Confuscius, Buddha, Thales, Anaxagovas and many more but going much deeper than just a few biographies, it goes to the heart of philosophy and takes you with it. I truly enjoyed this read not only because of the great writing that made you think with each sentence and form your own opinions but also because of the awesome illustrations inside. This book will build your respect for all of the amazing people that lived in the ancient times and for the human-kind. It goes into the personalities and lives of important people and figures in history and shows their thoughts and the theories they have worked their whole lives to understand in almost the simpliest form. I loved this book from the series and I will definitely read more. A week ago I didn't even know some of the names of the philosophers (like for example- Epicurus) but this week I know not only more about them but more about what philosophy really is which I don't think I understood as deeply before. The Appendix Of Documents put at the end of the book also helped a lot because it was the real writing of the people from the biographies and I was thankful because I could read something from their works. Nice covers too... I'd recommend...
