The book "Monster" was written by a gang member of south central L.A. He was in a gang called "Eight tray crips," he first joined this gang when he was 14 year old. Also the first time he put in work for his set he shot someone with a 12 gauge shotgun. The reason why im really interested in this book is because he was going through what i was going through and i was really excited to anther perspective of member. And that was because i've done as lot of bad things in life especially to people,a nd sometimes after i've done what i did what i did i dont know what to think about;how i affected that person or the consequence and the punishment. This book very good and it helps clear up a teenagers mind and reminds you that mistakes can be made and people may tell you that your life is fucked up but there always other oppurtunities in life to get you back on task.
