So excited to read this!

Ugh, this is taking me WAY TOO LONG TO READ. I really want to like this book. And sometimes I really do. But it feels so slow. The pace feels weird. Not good for me to take this long with a book. Not a good sigh. I hope the end picks up the pace.

Finally finished. I just powered through the last third.

Sometimes you see a movie, and you know there are parts that have been edited that would make parts of the movie that stayed make more sense. I had that feeling with this book. I felt like I was missing stuff. I love Gabriel and Tamsin, but I felt like Gabriel was kind of flat in this book. I missed Agatha, because she was awesome. The majority of supporting characters were the Knights, and they just didn't leap at me the way the supporting cast of Greenes did.

This isn't a bad series, necessarily. Especially if you like witches and time travel. But overall, the 2nd book left me a little disappointed. Not because of the "choice" necessarily, just because I felt like I was missing information. If that makes sense.
