Along with some basic information on the world's largest religions, this book contains an interesting history of how religion was removed from American Public Schools. This book is basically an argument for the teaching of (not preaching of) religion in public schools. Meaning, Americans need to know more about the world religions and how they impact everyday life. There are points that are a bit long and dry, but they are worth it in the end. As the book contains lists and dictionaries I plan on picking up a hardcover or paperback version for the sake of reference later on. Along with a brief quiz the book also offers a suggested reading list.
