The rhythm of the story makes it a fun way to teach children to count.

Little Kid Reaction: S/He likes seeing the numbers and trying to "count" the objects.

Big Kid Reaction: The rhythm of the story makes it a fun way to teach children to count.

Pros: The combination of the illustrations and rhyme engage young readers. Given a toddler's love of sing-song melodies and rhymes, this book is exactly their style.
