Fantastic! Now I know why Abraham Lincoln said to Harriet Beecher Stowe, "so you're the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war." It was truly heart wrenching. It seems ridiculous of me to critique such a classic, but I'm gonna anyway.

I think it would have done well to re-visit the Shelby plantation, and Aunt Chloe and family particularly, more often. I also found the ending for Cassy and Emmeline a bit far fetched. Otherwise - phenom! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is bc I find I'm giving out 5s far too liberally. I wish I could give half stars to things bc this is more like a 4.5
