I love Debbie Macomber. And because of my recent pruchase of a Kobo I was happy to find that during the year I can find her Christmas books even though Chapters won't put them out until about...mid November. I was in awe with her Cedar cove Christmas series but I feel like it might have set the bar a little too high in this case. Both stories were wonderful in their own ways (and I love Mercy, Goodness and Shirley) but other than the angels, there wasn't a whole lot of Christmas spirit in either story... and as a hard core fan of Christmas and that time of year, I was greatly disappointed.
