it may well be that some cliches are cliche because they are so ubiquitously, undeniably true. or at least, i hope that is the case with the inspirational cliches of this book. it may not be new ground by any means, but it did generally make me feel better about life, and some of the essays are genuinely touching and or funny. fellow quarter-life-crisis-ers of the world, this book will assuage some of your terrors, guaranteed. i'm probably gonna buy myself a copy to have on hand on rainy days.
