What if cancer was cured? What if almost all of the health problems related to aging were eliminated or minimized? What if almost no one died anymore? What then?

This book was interesting and a little too plausible for me (since we all know how poorly Americans tend to be at planning for the future). It reminded me a lot of Christopher Buckley's Boomsday, although this was less slapstick. The ending was a bit of a fizzle. 3.5 stars
