You can't quite call this one a comedy of manners. It's more of a drama of manners, with funny quips thrown in.

12th (so claims Goodreads) in the Vorkosigan series, this novel is all romance, politicking, and manners. I adored it. However, be aware that it doesn't stand on its own. If you haven't read the preceding novels (at least a few of them), you'll be mightily confused by who is related to whom, who has an established relationship with whom, what exactly it means to be a Lord Auditor, and so on.
