just finished reading the book. i have to say that i'm pleased with it. it definitely gave me closure. it will never be "Gone With the Wind", but no book will ever be, because the writer will never be Margaret Mitchell. i missed the enticing conversations between Rhett and Scarlett, the in depth descriptions of their actions...but i liked how Scarlett grew up, it was about time. as for her mooning over Rhett, well of course she was mooning over him, she was totally in love with him. and she mooned over Ashley enough in GWTW. she turned kind and nice because she finally had love in her heart, but she was still a cold bitch when she needed to be. yes, this sequel was better than i thought it was going to be. i think i'll read it again later on.
