The Haunted Mask (Goosebumps, #11)
by R.L. Stine
by R.L. Stine
All said and done, this is a surprisingly good entry in the Goosebumps series. The story builds progressively to an admittedly bizarre climax, but what can you expect from Stine? There's a red thread of tension woven throughout, and the mask is iconic 'Bumps. I wasn't a fan of the "only love can kill the demon" shtick, but hey. This is a solid book -- and it will probably creep out a kid if he's young enough.
