Fuck no. Never. I am in favor of studying nuance everywhere else but Hitler. I don't give a shit if he had redeeming qualities. If there has ever been evil in this world, pure evil, he was it. I have no interest in reading his perspective on the world.

Edit:
So, Adolf, this is your struggle, huh?

The next episode of Doctor Who is titled 'Let's Kill Hitler'. Now, we all know how well that goes in fiction, but after reading Kira's brilliant review of this book my response is pretty much: YES, LET'S DO.

Kira I have read this. I have suffered through over half of it. And I mean literally suffered. It made me feel constantly sick, and completely ashamed of myself for even touching it.

Hitler does not have one single redeeming quality. I can tell you that.

Anila I'm sorry, L. If it helps, your suffering will save others from similar pain - hopefully.
