This was possibly one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read. It has a touch of supernatural and the main point is possibly the supernatural part, and yet it doesn't rub it in your face that it's a fantasy story. In fact, it seemed rather believable. The main character, Blossom Culp, is unlike any girl I've ever read about before. She never goes by what the adults say is the rule, and she has her own way of viewing the world. As the story is told from her point of view, we notice her sense of humor and bluntness. And even though I despise romances with every fiber of my being, I'm still waiting for Blossom and Alexander to get together!
