it was amazing
bookshelves: series, fantasy, short-stories, epic, free
Read in April, 2011

This collection of stories is the latest look into the world of Terrene. More than the first collection, I think this set of stories connects into the world as seen in Progeny (The Children of the White Lions, #1). The story deals with people that are seen and referred to in that book (not to give anything away). The stories are available on the author's website for free or in inexpensive digital formats.

The self proclaimed purpose of these stories is to draw people to read Progeny and I think this bundle will do that. The story is left open ended enough that you want to understand where it is going but there is enough closure that you don't feel like it is part 1 of a longer episode.

In any case, I enjoyed these stories and am glad that the author is giving us these morsels. Here's hoping that book 2 will find us soon and these stories will someday sit bound on my shelf.
