Another good one from Cussler… relatively speaking, of course. Atlantis did exist but not as an island. Rather, an advanced civilization that was virtually wiped out by a comet strike in the Hudson Bay area. They weren't hit by the comet itself, rather, the comet caused mass extinction and a drastic change to the environment and continent alignment. Survivors left behind warnings but they weren't found until much later. By the Nazis. I hate Nazis. So that Aryans are involved in this one too via the Wolf family whose genetic tree resembles a telephone pole with a sprinkling of Hitler DNA thrown in. Of course Dirk and Al show up to save the day. A well pace story with the inevitable appearance of "Clive Cussler" which is always an annoyance. Does Al actually get married to Pat after this one? And do Dirk and Loren finally tie the knot? Tune in next time... Funny that I read Inca Gold and Atlantis Found back-to-back. They have some similar plot devices and the Pitt/Loren marriage thing going on.
